During September the new iPhone 5S is rumoured to be unveiled and is sure to prove one of the most popular smartphones released this year. Previous iPhone launches have become synonymous with shipment delays caused by demand exceeding supply and Apple are keen to avoid that this year and have seemed to begun the production process early in an effort to boost stocks ahead of the handsets release. Numerous reports over the past two weeks have suggested that the production process has already kicked off and now new images have emerged showing the phone on the production line. The new pictures have popped up on the Gforgames website and are said to have been taken at one of the Chinese manufacturing plants that Apple use to produce their range of devices.
If these new pictures turn out to be the real deal it will be the first glimpse that we have had of this eagerly awaited handset but the handset in the pictures seems to offer no major changes from the current iPhone 5. This will not come as a great shock to anybody who has been following the development of this model. The iPhone 5S, as with previous “S” models, is set to be an incremental update with the phone offering updated software and features but no real alteration of the design. One of the big changes set for the model will be the introduction of the new iOS7 operating system, the biggest update of Apple’s popular OS since its introduction back in 2007. Another element of the model that could be set to change is the processing chip that will feature with a number of insiders reporting that the handset could include the latest A7 architecture.
It seems as though Apple have already begun production of the new iPhone 5S, giving the manufacturers several weeks ahead of a launch to build up stock levels that will help them cope with high levels of demand when the handset does hit shelves later in the year.
